LAS VEGAS (Feb. 12, 2018) – For the first time ever, Encore Theater welcomes celebrated singer-songwriter, actress and author, JEWEL, as she performs her famed pop, rock and folk hits in a special two-night engagement entitled JEWEL: Hits, Muses and Mentors. Backed by her full band, the four-time GRAMMY nominated performer will take the stage on March 30th and 31st to perform signature hits like “You Were Meant For Me,” “Hands” and “Foolish Games.” This extraordinary engagement celebrates Jewel’s biggest hits and the muses and mentors along the way that made her one of the most iconic voices and writers of her generation.
Crediting her musical success to mentors Bob Dylan and Neil Young, Jewel has continued to captivate fans worldwide with her expressive candor and raw musical talents, making her a rare, magnetic combination of lyricist, soulful singer and gifted guitarist. The guidance provided by these two legends led her to sell more than 30 million albums worldwide, with her debut album Pieces of Me going platinum 12 times. Her talents have also been recognized by John Carter Cash, son of Johnny Cash, who chose Jewel to finish Cash’s half-written songs for a forthcoming posthumous CD.
